A menu inspired by British recipes conjured up during the rationing period of World War II. Implemented country wide between 1940 and 1954 as an initiative to prevent starvation when imports to the UK ceased completely! Times when eggs were rationed to only 1 per week…

Hardships endured and families improvising with what they had, creating unique and traditional wartime dishes:
Deviled Fish Croquette; “Wool”ton pie; Tinned Spiced Fruit Pudding.
