A peaceful haven just a stone's throw away
We think our home, tucked away up the creek and down the lane, is special enough to deserve a bit more exploring. New for 2023, we have refurbished a former barn across the road to provide beautiful, serviced accommodation for our guests, named in recognition of our unique South Hams location. Land & Sea can be booked as a whole for larger groups of up to eight people or as two separate cottages (Land and Sea), each sleeping four people in two ensuite bedrooms.
Both cottages are self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen – but of course we hope you will join us at the pub for drinks, lunch and dinner! To keep you going on your adventures, we will supply some locally sourced breakfast essentials and a few treats.
All our accommodation has high-quality beds with handcrafted mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, duvets and down pillows of the finest quality. All bedrooms are ensuite with soft robes, warm towels and luxury toiletries. Expect the highest standards of comfort and relaxation, with a good dose of the Millbrook charm you have come to expect.

Available for short Devon stays of two nights upwards, Land and Sea offer the perfect excuse to enjoy our hospitality – and our unique location on the creek – a little longer.Â
Unpacking the car can wait. Instead, pop across the road to the Millbrook for dinner, cooked with produce reared on our own farm just a few miles away. Take a nightcap back to the cottage and enjoy a blissful sleep between Egyptian cotton sheets. Wake up to homemade bread and sausages before lacing up your walking shoes and taking to the coast path.
